As a bit of a disclaimer, I'm sure many of the older sites below have long since been taken down and/or changed. I'm leaving them up for posterity for the time being; I'll strip dead links as I become aware of them.
- The Weather Channel: Storm Stories

This was another quick turn around project, only this one involved a microsite scoping UI, visual design, development and content management set up in a 3 week time span. I helped manage the development efforts and designed/implemented the Movable Type publishing structure.
- Sci Fi: Visions for Tomorrow

This was a quick turn around 2 week job that involved a site reskin, moderate expansion and content migration. I managed the development lifecycle and handled the Movable Type publishing restructuring.
- Telemundo

This massive 6 month effort included a full website redesign, restructure and content migration. I served as front end point person, HTML/CSS developer, and content management integration lead. The project utilized the Alfresco CMS for content management and Smarty PHP for templating.
- Film in Focus: Africa First

I created this microsite for the Film in Focus Short Film Program: Africa First. It was mostly HTML/CSS work and setting up the publishing in their MT system, but I also made use of some PHP functions to allow the standard site header to exist alongside the custom requirements for these specific pages.
- Television Without Pity

This 2 month project involved a site redesign, Movable Type set up, and content migration. I was lead front end developer for the project. I handled the large scale site planning, MT architecture and publishing, and some of the coding. I oversaw the work of the team members who handled the HTML/CSS and PHP coding. The site uses a combination of MT variables and custom PHP.
- NBC Sports Blogs

I created the NBC Sports blogs and Poker blog on the fly by skinning the standard Movable Type HTML. It required the use of some slightly complex MT programming to get the author-specific headers and bios on each author's archive page.
- iVillage Blog Migration

This project was more of a strategy assignment than anything else. I was tasked to design a Movable Type framework that would make it very easy to replicate blogs with certain design elements in common and migrate over the existing 40+ legacy blogs. I created a master blog and master css file to feed most of the elements into each individual blog, with a few overrides for each blog to specify background color, header, and other minor styles.
- NBCUatCES

This site had a hard deadline for the CES 2008 week and not much leadtime. I built it in Movable Type 4 and kept the standard HTML/CSS to save time, making only the changes necessary to effect the design of the photoshop mockups. I also integrated the flash components as necessary.
- DVICE

This site was originally built by another team and handed off to me to be upgraded to Movable Type 4, add plugin functionality and fix CSS bugs. I added the social bookmark links, the ajax rating plugin, and made updates to the navigation. I also coincidentally provided the other team with the css example layout they used to create the site in the first place.
- Green Is Universal

I was one of several front end developers who contributed to this site and have since done some of the maintenance and revisions. I worked primarily on the blog pages in Movable Type and also on the video player CSS. It was challenging from a css standpoint because it had to incorporate transparency, rounded corners, and variable vines in the design as well as clouds and grass. The site has since been altered and as of May 2008 uses much more scripting.
- Law & Order Player

This is one of several full page players I skinned for NBC in the fall. They provided me with their standard unedittable video player HTML and a photoshop mockup and I created the CSS to match the mockup for this show. I also integrated the PHP site header and footer. Turn around time was a couple of weeks.
- ThisIsNEXT.com

This was a bit of a rush job; 2 weeks from concept to launch to prepare for a marketing campaign. The client wanted a simple clean interface that could easily accommodate growth. I created the design and coded it up in clean xhtml/css. I added an xspf player for song snippets.
I also created the mailing list sign up with Dada Mail and a simple html e-mail template.
- StreetsDontLie.com

This site was built from scratch to be a social news destination with hip hop flavor. The client provided a Photoshop mockup and I built out original XHTML and CSS to match that design. Movable Type was used as a backend for easy blogger updating. I also installed several MT plugins to enable on-site commenter authentication and a rating system for entry and comment voting.
- ProductShopNYC.com

This music blogger was looking for a complete redesign of his blog and migration from Joomla to Movable Type. I created a simple layout, with a rotating header image in his desired orange and blue color scheme. I integrated a couple of advanced features via Movable Type plugins and added links for social posting as well.
I also set up a mailing list via Dada Mail.
- VH1 Acceptable TV Widget

The folks at VH1 wanted a viral tool to promote their new Jack Black show, "Acceptable TV". I designed the interface for this voting widget to match the ATV website. I also handled the HTML/CSS and plugging in to the backend voting functionality.
- MTV's The Hills Dating Game

MTV's new season kicks off next week so they want a slew of viral tools to promote their TV shows. I designed the interface for this and several other quizzes and integrated them with the PHP that powers the backend.
There'll be more where this came from...
- Wearables.net

A client wanted a simple blog created as a small side project. I designed a minimalist, but appealing interface, coded in XHTML and CSS, and installed into Movable Type publishing platform for easy updating.
I also added a del.icio.us link roll and a flickr photo feed to liven up the interface.
- Infofilter.net

The authors of this web application wanted to redesign the public-facing portion of the website to be more content-based and better reflect the software and its uses. It was designed to have the least amount of images possible and present a good deal of information in an accessible way.
I designed the interface and implemented it using XHTML and CSS. There are a couple of RSS feeds in the sidebar as well.
- Canalroom.com/calendar.php

I worked with a PHP developer to create a custom CMS and events listing page for Canal Room (a SoHo venue). They wanted to be able to update the calendar themselves, add events, add pictures, etc and display the events on a month to month basis with a simple interface.
I handled some of the PHP and all of the design, HTML and CSS coding.
