I created the NBC Sports blogs and Poker blog on the fly by skinning the standard Movable Type HTML. It required the use of some slightly complex MT programming to get the author-specific headers and bios on each author's archive page.]]>

This project was more of a strategy assignment than anything else. I was tasked to design a Movable Type framework that would make it very easy to replicate blogs with certain design elements in common and migrate over the existing 40+ legacy blogs. I created a master blog and master css file to feed most of the elements into each individual blog, with a few overrides for each blog to specify background color, header, and other minor styles.]]>

This site had a hard deadline for the CES 2008 week and not much leadtime. I built it in Movable Type 4 and kept the standard HTML/CSS to save time, making only the changes necessary to effect the design of the photoshop mockups. I also integrated the flash components as necessary.]]>

This site was originally built by another team and handed off to me to be upgraded to Movable Type 4, add plugin functionality and fix CSS bugs. I added the social bookmark links, the ajax rating plugin, and made updates to the navigation. I also coincidentally provided the other team with the css example layout they used to create the site in the first place.]]>

I was one of several front end developers who contributed to this site and have since done some of the maintenance and revisions. I worked primarily on the blog pages in Movable Type and also on the video player CSS. It was challenging from a css standpoint because it had to incorporate transparency, rounded corners, and variable vines in the design as well as clouds and grass. The site has since been altered and as of May 2008 uses much more scripting.]]>

They provided me with their standard unedittable video player HTML and a photoshop mockup and I created the CSS to match the mockup for this show. I also integrated the PHP site header and footer. Turn around time was a couple of weeks.]]>

This was a bit of a rush job; 2 weeks from concept to launch to prepare for a marketing campaign. The client wanted a simple clean interface that could easily accommodate growth. I created the design and coded it up in clean xhtml/css. I added an xspf player for song snippets.
I also created the mailing list sign up with Dada Mail and a simple html e-mail template.

This site was built from scratch to be a social news destination with hip hop flavor. The client provided a Photoshop mockup and I built out original XHTML and CSS to match that design. Movable Type was used as a backend for easy blogger updating. I also installed several MT plugins to enable on-site commenter authentication and a rating system for entry and comment voting.]]>

This music blogger was looking for a complete redesign of his blog and migration from Joomla to Movable Type. I created a simple layout, with a rotating header image in his desired orange and blue color scheme. I integrated a couple of advanced features via Movable Type plugins and added links for social posting as well.

The folks at VH1 wanted a viral tool to promote their new Jack Black show, "Acceptable TV". I designed the interface for this voting widget to match the ATV website. I also handled the HTML/CSS and plugging in to the backend voting functionality.]]>
